Hyster Forklift Parts Offer Quality And Broad Selection

The Hyster Company's reputation as one of the world's largest and most well-known producers and designers of lift trucks and material handling equipment dates back to the 1920's.  Hyster currently offers over 130 models with weight-handling capacities of between 2000 to 115,000 pounds.  Low priced Hyster forklift parts can be easily located through a service they offer called "Unisource".  According to Hyster's website, this parts source offers almost 5 million parts for over 90 different brands of lift equipment.

It is the quality of Hyster forklift parts that has earned them the solid reputation they have built through the years. Standard product features such as Japan's state of the art Mazda 2.0 litre engine found in the Fortis line of Hyster S30-70 lift trucks boasts a 4 cylinder overhead valve and overhead camshaft, an LPG fuel system and governor that are electronically controlled, a cast-iron block with aluminum cylinder heads, a high-powered air cleaner with high-level air intake, and a single-barrel carburetor. The LP powered version of this engine produces 44 hp@2600 rpm, while the gasoline powered model produces 50 hp@2600 rpm.  With similar features the larger Mazda 2.2L engine is an upgrade offered in the advanced package for the S40-S60 models of this truck. Both of these motors comply with all EPA emissions requirements.

The GM 2.4L engine is another of the Hyster forklift parts that can be found powering these lift trucks.  This engine differs from the Mazda model in that it has hardened intake valves and hydraulic filters, as well as drive-by-wire throttle controls and a pre-cleaner feature on its air purifier. The GM 2.4L engine produces 61 hp@2600 rpm and is offered in the Fortis Advance and Advance Plus packages of the S70FT model truck. It too is EPA compliant.

The collection of Hyster forklift parts also includes Japan's YanMar 2.6L diesel engine found on the H30-H40 models of the Fortis line lift trucks.  The YanMar power-plant features a natural-flow air intake and a mechanical governor. Glow-plugs make it easy to start in colder areas.  A counter-weight vertical exhaust system, emissions compliance, and an automatic fuel shut-off that is electrically powered are just a few more bonuses the YanMar offers. This diesel engine produces 40 hp@2600rpm.  It is also important to note that each of these engines can be purchased new for between $3000-$5000, while rebuilt models are available for as little as $1800.
